Andrew Byer

Andrew Byer Attorney was born in 1962 in Jersey City, New Jersey, and was shaped by a vibrant cultural heritage from his Italian immigrant mother. This early immersion in Italian culture and periods spent living in Italy gave him a nuanced understanding of international relations. This skill would later define his career in international law. Andrew graduated from Columbia University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and enriched his education with a summer study abroad in France.

Upon completing his Juris Doctor at Syracuse University College of Law in 1987, Andrew moved to South Florida, where he began his legal career. He initially took on the lease administrator and legal counsel role at the Miracle Marketplace shopping mall in Coral Gables, where he skillfully managed lease negotiations and tenant relations.

In 1990, Andrew's career trajectory veered towards international business when he became the Director of Operations for Maria Pia, an Italian shoe manufacturer. His fluency in Italian was critical as he managed to close the company’s U.S. operations. Following this, from 1991 to 1994, he served as General Counsel and Director of International Sales at Intracorp, Inc., where he was pivotal in acquiring licensing rights from Hollywood studios to transform movies into video games, thus boosting the company's international reach.

In 1994, leveraging his rich background in international law and multiple languages, Andrew established the Law Offices of Andrew Alexander Byer. His firm specializes in helping European companies navigate the complexities of setting up operations in the U.S., offering more than legal advice but also strategic business insights.

Andrew’s passion for high-fidelity sound led him to open Magnum Opus Audio in 2007, a boutique store focusing on ultra-high-end audio and home theater systems in Fort Lauderdale. Despite the challenges posed by technological shifts in the market, Andrew transitioned his focus to real estate, founding AJ&J Holdings, LLC, and later, in 2024, starting Bozhlona, Inc., a property management firm.

Outside his professional achievements, Andrew is a devoted philanthropist and adventurer. His interests range from gourmet dining and world travel to supporting animal shelters and community services. Today, Andrew Byer continues to leverage his extensive legal and business experience, influencing real estate and corporate business with his expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.
